We understand that we must show the true image of the Blessed Virgin Mary in order to fulfill Mary's request for reparation to Her Immaculate Heart on the First Saturdays of the Month. SHE is the best and most tender Mother. However, SHE is also the Mighty Queen of Heaven and Earth who ruthlessly crushes Satan. To prepare the Triumph of Her Immaculate Heart the Fatima Secretariat needs your spiritual support!   Ks. Krzysztof Czapla SAC
THE DESIRE IS TO UNITE POLAND AND THE WORLD IN THE DEVOTION OF FIRST SATURDAYS WITH THE IMMACULATE HEART OF OUR MOTHER The desire is for all of Poland to be united on the first Saturdays with the Immaculate Mother's Heart. All of us, because Poland our homeland and the Church were all consecrated and we devoted ourselves in parishes and families to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Therefore, all of us have a duty to fulfill the obligations incurred by consecrating ourselves to Immaculate Heart of Mary. "When in 1856 Polish immigrants in Paris celebrated the 200th anniversary of John Casimir's Vows the Polish preacher Fr. Alexnder Jełowicki discussed the duty of man to the vows earlier committed. He came to the conclusion that Poland has fallen apart (partitioned) because the nation did not fulfill its sworn commitments. " In 1946, the following words were again recalled: "Three months ago, the Catholic Polish nation again at the foot of Our Lady of Czestochowa at Jasna Góra made new vows which content is known to all. So let us not repeat the error of the past by not fulfilling the obligations incurred by the vow. In contrary, let us now move on from the words to the deeds, to a truly Catholic life in the family, in society. This is what the Immaculate Conception - Mary demands of us today. " - Fr. A. Marchewka, Immaculate calls for action, Sunday Catholic Weekly , 1946. The timespan of continual prayer is indicated in the very message of Fatima: - until peace comes to the world,- until Russia is converted and its mistakes will not spill in the world,- until the triumph of Mary's Immaculate Heart comes.
CALL OF GOD In 1712 Saint Louis Marie Grignion de Montfort writes: "God in these times wishes his Blessed Mother to be more known, loved and honoured than She has ever been ” REPEATED REQUEST OF GOD The expression used by Saint Louis was almost literally repeated to Sister Lucy by Mary in Fatima in the year 1917: "Jesus wishes to make use of you to make me known and loved " THE WILL OF GOD The special meaning that emerges from the words of Saint Louis, Fatima Apparitions and the desires of God's Heart are a guidepost for us. The will of God is for the Mother of the Son to be more known and loved. „God in these times wishes his Blessed Mother to be more known, loved and honoured than she has ever been " These words of Saint Louis Marie Grignion de Montfort outline the central theme of theTreatise on True Devotion to the Blessed Virgin. And what do we find in the content of the Message of Fatima? In Lucia's account of the appearance of Our Lady on June 13, 1917, we read: „I would like to ask you to take us to heaven.- Yes, I shall take Jacinta and Francisco soon, but you will remain here for some time yet Jesus wishes to use you in order to make me known and loved. . He wishes to establish devotion to my Immaculate Heart in the world. I promise salvation to those who embrace it; and these souls will be beloved of God like flowers arranged by me to adorn His throne”. - Memories of S. Lucy from Fatima. Identical is the purpose of the Treaty written by Saint Louis and the message we received through the Three Fatima Shepherds. It is God's will that Mary be more known and loved. The expression used by Saint Louis, almost literally, was repeated by Mary in Fatima. With the difference that Saint Louis writes about the fact that Mary should be more venerated than ever before and describes in the Treatise the general form of devotion. Whilst in Fatima a devotion is also established, with the exception that God wants to establish the specific devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, at the same time giving its very precise structure. - „You have seen hell where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wishes to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If what I say to you is done, many souls will be saved and there will be peace.”. - - Fatima - July 13, 1917 „On the occasion of the religious ceremonies which are taking place at this time in honor of the Virgin Mother of God in Fatima, Portugal, where she is venerated by countless numbers of the faithful for her motherly and compassionate Heart, we wish to call the attention of all sons of the Church once more to the indissoluble link between the spiritual motherhood of Mary, so amply illustrated in the (council's) Dogmatic Constitution on the Church Lumen Gentium and the duties of redeemed men toward her, the Mother of the Church. . Before such splendor of virtue, the first duty of all those who recognize in the Mother of Christ the model of the Church, is to unite themselves to her in giving thanks to the Most High for working great things in Mary for the benefit of all mankind. But this is not enough. It is also the duty of all the faithful to pay as tribute to the most faithful handmaid of the Lord, a veneration of praise, of gratitude and of love because, by a wise and mild divine provision, her free consent and her generous cooperation in the designs of God had, and still have, a great influence in the attainment of human salvation(33). Therefore every Christian must make St. Anselm's prayer his own: "Oh, glorious Lady, grant that through you we may deserve to ascend to Jesus, your Son, who through you deigned to descend among us”. - Paul VI, Signum Magnum, p. 7. The unusual expression that emerges from: the words of Saint Louis; the Church's guidelines; and the desires of God's Heart are all guideposts for us. God's will is for the Mother of His Son to be more known and loved. Is love for God not expressed in keeping His commandments? Thereby is it not beautiful and necessary to express love for the Mother by fulfilling her requests?
WE DIRECTLY DESIRE TO FULFILL THE FATIMA CALLS OF OUR LADY GUIDELINES FROM THE ANGEL OF FATIMA. The angel gives us a hint of what to do. In order for the world, Poland, to properly interpret the guidelines concerning the devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, we need to make daily sacrifices, fast, do mortification, practice penance out of everything that is possible We need to open hearts, undertake acts with love, with the awareness of the very specific intention We are driven by the desire to fulfill the call of Our Lady of Fatima, who calls for the daily prayer of the Rosary and for the devotion to Her Immaculate Heart, that is, sacrifice and reparation on the First Saturdays of the month. If people fulfill these wishes of Mary, then there will be peace in the world, Russia will convert and there will be the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Our Lady. How great and wonderful these promises are. However, let us note that before the Fatima Shepherds - Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco - received and undertook with great zeal the way of saving sinners, indicated by the Beautiful Lady from Heaven, they went through the formation under the guidance of the Guardian Angel of Portugal. This path is an indication for us that we can not omit it if we want to participate in the plan which Our Lady outlines. „Suddenly, we saw the same Angel right beside us:-What are you doing? he asked. “Pray! Pray very much! The Hearts of Jesus and Mary have designs of mercy on you. Offer prayers and sacrifices constantly to the Most High.”-How are we to make sacrifices? - I asked.-Make of everything you can a sacrifice and offer it to God as an act of reparation for the sins by which He is offended and in supplication for the conversion of sinners . You will thus draw down peace upon your country. I am its Guardian Angel, the angel of Portugal. Above all, accept and bear with submission, the sufferings which the Lord will send you.” - Memories of s. Lucy from Fatima. We can not ignore or misuse this fundamental guideline given by the Angel to the Shepherds, preparing them for a meeting with the Mother of God. If the Angel mission is to educate, then it is necessary to properly read the content of the call of Our Lady of Fatima. For such reason, so that the world, Poland, would correctly read the indications concerning the devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Moreover, we also need to daily sacrifice, fast, mortificate, practice penance from everything that is possible. The angel does not indicate to the Little Shepherds how many times a day or for what period of time, what exactly should they do on a given day. He describes the attitude, not letters of the law, of an open heart with acts undertaken with love and the consciousness of a very precise intention. We set ourselves the requirements outlined not only by law and rule, but by heart. We are driven by the desire to do what is possible and not to waste even the smallest crumb of goodness. How often lonely, disabled, sick and the elderly people are confused about not being able to do nothing more for others. On the contrary, blessed with adherance to a conscious intention their hardship, suffering, loneliness, and pain can become a precious sacrifice, like the sacrifice and suffering of little Jacinta for which John Pail II thanked during her beatification in 2000. He thanked for her prayer which took place at a time when Karol Wojtyła was not born yet. One can only imagine how many of these undiscovered „treasures” are in our families, homes, hospitals and nursing homes. Sometimes one would like more, but let's think about whether quantity has more value. An Intention of love can give great value to small things. This is what Jesus Himself says to Sister Lucia: „It is true, my daughter, that many souls begin the First Saturdays, but few finish them, and those who do complete them do so in order to receive the graces that are promised thereby. It would please me more if they did Five with fervor and with the intention of making reparation to the Heart of your heavenly Mother, than if they did Fifteen, in a tepid and indifferent manner”. - Memories of S. Lucy from Fatima.
ONE SPECIFIC INTENTION AS THE SIGN OF UNITY One intention is a clear signpost to unite us in order not to lose sight of the essence and desire to act in response to the guidelines from Our Lady. WE FIGHT IN ONE INTENTION We are in great numbers in Poland and abroad. Analogous to a big army there is the necessity for a one concrete and coherent order. One specific intention as a sign of unity. If one wants everything then one can lose everything. What is important is that one intention is to be the clear signpost to unite us in order not to lose sight of the essence if we desire to act effectively in response to the guidelines from Our Lady.Since there are great numbers of people in Poland and abroad, in order for us to unite the common denominator can not be characterized by multiplicity. Therefore, just as for a large army, one specific and coherent command is necessary. "Above all, you must pray for the whole people: that is, for the whole body, for every part of your mother the Church, whose distinguishing feature is mutual love. If you ask for something for yourself then you will be praying for yourself only – and you must remember that more grace comes to one who prays for others than to any ordinary sinner. If each person prays for all people, then all people are effectively praying for each. In conclusion, if you ask for something for yourself alone, you will be the only one asking for it; but if you ask for benefits for all, all in their turn will be asking for them for you. For you are in fact one of the “all.” Thus it is a great reward, as each person’s prayers acquire the weight of the prayers of everyone. There is nothing presumptuous about thinking like this: on the contrary, it is a sign of greater humility and more abundant fruitfulness." . - z from the Treatise of Saint Ambrose, Bishop, About Cain and Abel (Lib. 1,9,34-39 CSEL 32, 369. 371-372)
